each time i walk out of the house to go to work i look up at this tree to see the sky filtering through the branches. Now the tree has no leaves at all.

these are in our backyard these days. they have finally flowered nicely--took them a while to get there. (this picture is from like two weeks ago--i haven't had time to go look at them closely since then, but i think there are a couple of blooms still hanging on).
